This is one of the numerous poems i've composed. Infact it is one of my best. It was actually dedicated to all wonderful friends. I hope u'll like it too.
"My Heart's gettin' Fonder"
I discovered a peace within when we met
Such joy that you are my friend
We'd be the perfect ten if we're numbers
For you're like heaven sent out of the blue skies.
I went up mountains and went over the rainbows
But i still found a part of you in me
Such wonderful feeling of joy you've put in me
Just as the sun comes up in every morning time.
I long for you to be by my side the rest of my life
To know you are there in the morning
And to dream about you all through the night
For you are a soothing balm that takes away my pains
How i wish i could go to any length and level
Just to show and appreciate how very much
Your friendship makes this heart of mine get fonder by the day
I'll always love you but God will do even much more. |
